href=\"https:\/\/www.thefunkyturtle.com\/de\/conservation\/marine-conservation\/\">Unterwasser-\u00d6kosystem<\/a>, das aus Kolonien von Korallenpolypen (sehr kleinen Weichk\u00f6rper-Organismen) besteht und von einem sch\u00fctzenden Kalksteinskelett zusammengehalten wird.\r\n\r\nSie entstehen, wenn sich ein Polyp an einem Felsen oder am Meeresboden festsetzt und sich dann in Tausende von Klonen aufteilt.\r\n\r\nSie tauchten erstmals vor 485 Millionen Jahren auf und werden oft liebevoll als <em><strong>\u201eRegenw\u00e4lder des Meeres\u201c bezeichnet<\/strong><\/em>.\r\n\r\n<figure Korallenriffe durch die Verwendung des im Ozean gel\u00f6sten Kohlendioxids und durch die Umwandlung dieses Gases in Kalkstein gebildet werden. Daher k\u00f6nnen Korallen den Kohlendioxidgehalt im Ozean kontrollieren.\r\n\r\nDies ist f\u00fcr alle <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefunkyturtle.com\/de\/conservation\/\">Wildtiere<\/a> und nat\u00fcrlich f\u00fcr den Menschen von wesentlicher Bedeutung, da wir sonst alle durch einen h\u00f6heren Kohlendioxidgehalt beeintr\u00e4chtigt w\u00fcrden.\r\n\r\nIn der modernen Medizin liefern Korallenriffe die notwendigen Zutaten f\u00fcr viele lebensrettende Humanarzneimittel. Ohne die Riffe w\u00fcrden Menschen nicht mit solchen Medikamenten versorgt und w\u00e4ren einem gr\u00f6\u00dferen \u00dcberlebensrisiko ausgesetzt.\r\n\r\nSie tragen auch zur Erhaltung der K\u00fcsten bei, indem sie eine Barriere gegen die starken Str\u00f6mungen des Ozeans bilden.\r\n\r\nWenn Wellen auf die K\u00fcste abfallen, treffen sie zuerst auf die Riffe, die dann das Wasser umleiten und umverteilen, wodurch es gezwungen wird, in verschiedene Richtungen langsamer zu werden.\r\n\r\nTropische St\u00fcrme wirken sich definitiv auf <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefunkyturtle.com\/de\/koh-tao\/beaches\/\">Str\u00e4nde<\/a> und K\u00fcsten aus. Strukturen<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\nViele besch\u00e4digte Riffe k\u00f6nnen Jahre oder sogar Jahrzehnte brauchen, um sich zu erholen, wobei die meisten dies niemals alleine tun, ohne eine solide Struktur, an die sie sich binden k\u00f6nnen.\r\n\r\nIn Gebieten, die zu Sand reduziert wurden oder in denen das Riff aufgrund verschiedener St\u00f6rungen verloren geht, ist eine strukturelle Wiederherstellung erforderlich.\r\n\r\nEine M\u00f6glichkeit, die Gesundheit von Korallenriffen zu verbessern und ihr Gedeihen zu f\u00f6rdern, besteht darin, <a
