corps mou) et maintenus ensemble par un squelette protecteur en calcaire.\r\n\r\nIls sont cr\u00e9\u00e9s lorsqu&rsquo;un polype s&rsquo;attache \u00e0 un rocher ou au fond de la mer, puis se divise en milliers de clones.\r\n\r\nIls sont apparus pour la premi\u00e8re fois il y a 485 millions d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es et sont souvent appel\u00e9s affectueusement <em><strong>les for\u00eats tropicales de
