verdwijnen.\r\n\r\nAfbraak van deze riffen heeft een directe impact op elke biodiversiteit die voor zijn voortbestaan afhankelijk is van het rif.\r\n\r\nHet verlies van riffen en het daarmee verbonden zeeleven heeft een enorme impact op eilandstaten, zoals de Filippijnen en Indonesi\u00eb.\r\n\r\nVeel mensen in deze landen zijn afhankelijk van de ecosystemen van het rif om zowel hun gezin te voeden als de kost te verdienen.\r\n\r\nHet verminderde aantal beschikbare vissen heeft ertoe geleid dat zij destructieve visserijpraktijken hebben toegepast, zoals het gebruik van cyanide of
