Koh Nangyuan Island Snorkel Experience
Koh Nangyuan is a picturesque tropical island located approximately 800 metres off the north west tip of Koh Tao.
The 3 small islands that make up Koh Nangyuan are linked by a large sandbar at low tide and provide snorkeling in 3 areas.
The water is safe, clear, warm and shallow with an abundance of marine life visible, so you can relax, swim and snorkel at your leisure.
Part of the Koh Nangyuan visitor experience includes an island specific mini-briefing so you understand what you can and cannot take onto this beautiful island.
Plastic bottles are not allowed and your bag will be checked for plastic, but you can leave any non essential items on the boat with any other belongings.
Koh Nangyuan has a stunning viewpoint that you can hike up to for those memorable photographs and there is a café and restaurant available should you wish to buy any additional refreshments.

Mango Bay Snorkel
Mango Bay is situated on the northern tip of Koh Tao and is a wide bay that opens out from a relatively small beach.
The centre of the bay has a large, white sandy floor and both sides of the bay are lined with a variety of coral reefs, teeming with tropical fish.
The water depth at Mango bay ranges from the shallows of the beach to approximately 16-24 metres within the confines of the bay.

Depending on the season and the weather, this small bay offers shelter, with calm, clear water and an abundance of species of marine life.

Hin Wong Bay is a large expansive bay and very popular with visitors for its small secluded beach and it is a fantastic area to swim and snorkel.
Situated on the east coast of Koh Tao and accessible by a relatively new concrete road, Hin Wong is on the bucket list of most visitors.

What is the difference between half day snorkel trips and full day snorkel trips?
A full day snorkel trip around Koh Tao starts earlier in the morning and finishes earlier in the afternoon. It includes all equipment, resort pick up and drop off, 5 stops and hot Thai lunch with refreshments throughout the day. The half day snorkel trip starts at lunchtime and normally finishes at sunset. The half day trip includes all equipment, resort pick up and drop off, lunchbox with refreshments through the day. The full day snorkel trip starts at 09:30 with a resort pick up and the boat will leave at approximately 10am.
After 5 stops including an extended stop at Koh Nang Yuan for 2 hours, the boat will return to the pier at approximately 4pm and customers will then be returned to their resorts or hotels.
